The Grace Campaign

Grace Medical Home has been operating at capacity for several years. As we began to outgrow our facility, our board initiated a strategic needs assessment to identify the ideal size, location and functionality of a new facility. It was determined that we would need 15,000 to 20,000 square feet to meet and expand our future services. We also evaluated a lease versus purchase option and determined there were several advantages to ownership...including property tax savings, potential local grants and lease income.

June 2017, we purchased a 19,000 sq.ft. building for $2.8M. Our new home is located at 1417 E. Concord Street, close to downtown with good access to bus service and conveniently located between our two primary hospital partners, Orlando Health and AdventHealth. This new location will provide sufficient space for additional pediatric and adult exam rooms, conference rooms for education, a teaching kitchen with produce storage and our biggest program expansion to date - dentistry! In our first year, we hope to increase our patients seen by 60%.

Thanks to the generosity of the community who made contributions to The Grace Campaign we are debt-free! We are grateful to Dr. Phillips Charities for providing Grace Medical Home a matching gift of $800,00 that is being used to renovate our new building. Our certificate of occupancy is scheduled for August and we hope to move in early September. We are still raising funds for furniture, fixtures, equipment and program costs. Please contact the Development Team if you would like more information.

Make sure to join us on November 16th between 4:00 and 7:00 pm for Let’s See Grace, an open celebrating the community who made the new building possible.
