The Grace Campaign

Grace Medical Home has been operating at capacity for several years. As we began to outgrow our facility, our board initiated a strategic needs assessment to identify the ideal size, location and functionality of a new facility. It was determined that we would need 15,000 to 20,000 square feet to meet and expand our future services. We also evaluated a lease versus purchase option and determined there were several advantages to ownership...including property tax savings, potential local grants and lease income.

June 2017, we purchased a 19,000 sq.ft. building for $2.8M. Our new home is located at 1417 E. Concord Street, close to downtown with good access to bus service and conveniently located between our two primary hospital partners, Orlando Health and Florida Hospital. This new location will provide sufficient space for additional pediatric and adult exam rooms, conference rooms for education, office space and parking and much more.

We ask the community to join The Grace Campaign with a goal to retire this debt, pay for renovation, furniture and fixtures and to raise one and a half years of operating costs.  We know that as the health care landscape continues to shift, there will always be people who fall through the cracks. For instance, the number of uninsured in Orange County has decreased thanks to an improved economy and health reform, yet there are still more than 180,000 central Florida residents without insurance. We want to be a solution which provides life-changing continuity of care for our neighbors and be a symbol of God's love for those who feel forgotten.

The construction costs of our new building are more than $1,600,000 and we are grateful to Dr. Phillips Charities for providing Grace Medical Home a matching gift opportunity of $800,00. If we are able to raise this $800,000, the combined match will enable renovation of our new facility where in our first year, we expect to nearly double the amount of patients served. Please help us reach this goal.
