Welcome, Ella Bouriak, Associate Director of Philanthropy

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we introduce you to the newest addition to our staff, Ella Bouriak, who has joined us as the Associate Director of Philanthropy. Ella brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others through philanthropy.

Ella's professional journey has been marked by significant achievements and impactful contributions to various organizations. Prior to joining Grace Medical Home, Ella served as the VP of Philanthropy at the REED Charitable Foundation, where she demonstrated exceptional fundraising prowess by helping to lay a foundation for their development efforts by incorporating the industry's best practices, worked on deepening and expanding community relations, and helped secure new revenue through a variety of channels.

Her tenure as the Regional Director of Development for Rollins College showcased her ability to cultivate integral relationships with internal and external partners and secure substantial support for the college’s top priorities. Managing a portfolio of 200 major gift prospects in the Northeastern United States, Ella raised over $900,000 for the Campaign at Rollins College.

During her nine years at Columbia University, Ella held several important roles, each contributing to her diverse skill set and extensive understanding of philanthropic endeavors. From organizing events to managing the Annual Fund at Columbia Journalism School and working with the leadership gift donors at Columbia Business School, Ella consistently exceeded expectations and played a key role in advancing the University's mission.

Ella's educational background is equally impressive, with a BA in International Affairs with a Minor in Business Management from Rollins College, and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University. Her commitment to lifelong learning and professional development is evident in her continuous pursuit of excellence.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ella is a multifaceted individual with a passion for wellness, community engagement, and service. Fluent in Russian, a certified Yoga instructor, and two times New York City Marathon finisher, Ella embodies the values of dedication, perseverance, and compassion.

Ella currently resides in the Dr. Phillips area with her husband, Andres, 5-year-old daughter, Ava, and two cats, Sunny and Lili.
